Well, hurricane season is making itself felt in my neck of the woods. Granted at this time it isn’t a hurricane just a tropical storm but you still have to prepare for the worst.

For the next 24 to 48 hours I will be getting ready for a storm that hopefully will never hit. But even if it comes close there is a possibility of loosing power for an extended period of time.

I am off to start preparations. I will keep you informed of what is happening if I am able.

That’s right this Hermit left his island in the Caribbean and went up to Orlando. Why? To see what all the fuss was about with going to seminars.

The result of me going to Michael Penland’s Internet and Joint Venture Marketing Super Conference was that I am already looking for another seminar to go to. I know of one for sure I will be at in Baltimore in September, TIMME (The Internet Marketing Main Event) but I am also looking to schedule one in between now and then.

Again you might be wondering why – quite simply this was an invaluable resource, not just what I learned but also the people I met. For example David Watson, the IM Wizard, was a pleasure to meet and his tools come in quite handy for you marketing purposes.

Over all I met way to many people to list here and gained many, many resources and it was worth flying from the Caribbean to attend. You will find that almost all of the presenter, the “Gurus”, are down to earth people and are approachable and friendly. If you are polite about it the will even let you pick their brains. What more could you ask for?

All in all if a Hermit can get out and go to one what is stopping you?
